Promperú and LATAM Airlines Partner to Boost Peru’s Tourism in Key Global Markets

Promperú (Peru’s Commission for the Promotion of Export and Tourism) and LATAM Airlines have signed a strategic alliance to position Peru as a top travel destination in key global markets. This powerful collaboration will focus on attracting more tourists from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, and Mexico—seven countries that currently generate the highest number of visitors to Peru.

A Bold Campaign to Showcase Peru’s Best

From April to June, the campaign will highlight Peru’s most iconic destinations:

  • Arequipa, with its stunning colonial architecture

  • Cusco, the historic gateway to Machu Picchu

  • Lima, the vibrant capital and culinary hotspot

These locations will be promoted through a multi-platform digital campaign that includes:

  • Google Ads

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

  • YouTube

  • TikTok

  • DV360

  • Targeted email campaigns

In the United States, the strategy includes an eye-catching floating digital billboard that will sail through Miami Bay, capturing the attention of both locals and tourists.


796 Million+ Impressions Expected

The campaign aims to achieve over 796 million advertising impressions, significantly increasing Peru’s visibility as a must-visit destination. LATAM Airlines plays a central role, operating:

  • 20 direct routes to Peru

  • Over 240 weekly flights from the target countries

This connectivity makes Peru more accessible than ever for international travelers.


Aligned with the “Peru Wow” Global Tourism Campaign

This initiative works hand-in-hand with “Peru Wow”, Promperú’s 2025 global campaign. The goal: to amaze and inspire travelers through the country’s:
